Takar (Persian: تاکر, also Romanized as Tākar and Tākor)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Tatarestaq Rural District of Baladeh District, Nur County, Mazandaran province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 150 in 49 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 148 people in 60 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 108 people in 62 households.[2]
