Persian (countable and uncountable, plural Persians)

1. (uncountable) The Persian language, or a family of languages spoken primarily in Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

   Synonyms: Farsi, Dari (in Afghanistan), Tajik (in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) Persian language is a family of Indo-European languages that includes the languages of northern India and Europe, such as English, French, and German.
