Suffix

-asz

  1. (personal suffix) Forms the second-person singular present tense of verbs (indicative mood, indefinite conjugation).
    ‎fogyaszt (“to consume”) + ‎-asz → ‎fogyasztasz (“you consume, you are consuming”)
  2. (nominal-forming suffix) Forms nouns and adjectives from verbs or nouns.
    ‎válik (“to become”) + ‎-asz → ‎válasz (“answer, reply”)
    ‎kopik (“to get thin from wear”) + ‎-asz → ‎kopasz (“bald”)
