Inherited from Byzantine Greek θυμώνω (thumṓnō), θυμαίνω (thumaínō), from the Ancient Greek θυμόω, θυμῶ (thumóō, thumô) + -ώνω (-óno).[1] See θυμός (thymós) for more.
