Olga Tokarczuk
Olga Nawoja Tokarczuk[1] ([tɔˈkart͡ʂuk]; born 29 January 1962) is a Polish writer and activist.[2][3][4]

In 2018, she won the Man Booker International Prize for her novel Flights, becoming the first Polish writer to do so.[5] She was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for the year 2018 (awarded in 2019).[6][7]
