Etymology
From иккӗ (ikkĕ, “two”) + -мӗш (-mĕš, “ordinal suffix”), compare Bulgar [script needed] (ekiş), [script needed] (ikişi, “second”).[1]
Cognate with Khalaj əkkiminci, Turkish ikinci, Uzbek ikkinchi, Bashkir икенсе (ikense) and Yakut иккис (ikkis).
