απόκριση
Greek
Etymology
Inherited from Byzantine Greek ἀπόκρισις (apókrisis, “answer”), from the ancient Ancient Greek ἀπόκρισις (apókrisis, “decision, answer”). By surface analysis, απο- (apo-, “from”) + κρίση (krísi, “judgement, decision”).[1]
For the medical sense,[2][3] learned borrowing from Ancient Greek ἀπόκρισις (apókrisis) from the sense "excretion or secretion, separation".
