Vallées-en-Champagne

Vallées-en-Champagne is a commune in the Aisne department of northern France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2016 and consists of the former communes of Baulne-en-Brie, La Chapelle-Monthodon and Saint-Agnan.[1]

Geography

Vallées-en-Champagne is in the southeastern part of the Aisne department, on the border with the Marne department, at 64.6 km (40.1 mi) to the south of Laon,[2] the prefecture of the department, and at 16.8 km (10.4 mi) to the southeast of Château-Thierry,[3] the subprefecture of the arrondissement.

It has an area of 41.24 km2 (15.92 sq mi) with an altitude of 82–254 m (269–833 ft).
