Les Septvallons

Les Septvallons is a commune in the Aisne department of northern France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2016 and consists of the former communes of Glennes, Longueval-Barbonval, Merval, Perles, Révillon, Vauxcéré and Villers-en-Prayères.[1]

Geography

Les Septvallons is in the eastern part of the Soissons arrondissement, in the valley of the Aisne river; the commune is on the border with the Marne department, at 23.5 km (14.6 mi) to the south of Laon,[2] the prefecture of the department, and at 23.8 km (14.8 mi) to the east of Soissons,[3] the subprefecture of the arrondissement.

It has an area of 38.14 km2 (14.73 sq mi) with an altitude of 55–193 m (180–633 ft).
