Economy
The European Union Satellite Centre (SatCen), an agency of the European Union, is in Torrejón de Ardoz. It is also the home of the headquarters of the Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial (INTA), the Spanish space agency.
The Torrejón Air Base/Madrid–Torrejón Airport is on the municipality.
