The municipalities of Spain (Spanish: municipios, IPA: [muniˈθipjos], Catalan: municipis, Galician: concellos, Basque: udalerriak, Asturian: conceyos; sing. municipio) are towns or cities that have a ruling governor or mayor. If you have one of those your town or city is a municipality in Spain.
