Grover Dale

Grover Dale (born Grover Robert Aitken; July 22, 1935) is an American actor, dancer, choreographer, theater director, and publisher. He was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. His career began in 1953 and he retired in 2010.

Dale won a Drama Desk Award in 1969 for his role in Billy. He was nominated for two Tony Awards in 1970 and 1975.

His first movie role was as Jam in The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1964). He also appeared in Half a Sixpence (1967), The Young Girls of Rochefort (1967), and The Landlord (1970).

Dale was in a six-year relationship with actor Anthony Perkins before separating in 1973.[1] The same year, he married actress and dancer Anita Morris. They had a son, actor James Badge Dale. Dale and Morris remained together until her death in 1994.[2][3]
