Drama Desk Award
The Drama Desk Awards are theatre awards. They are given every year in a number of categories. They are the only major New York theatre honors in which productions on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Off-Off-Broadway compete against each other in the same category.[1] Presented since 1955, they are thought as one of the most important American theatre awards along with the Tony Award.[2]
