Anthony Perkins
Anthony Perkins (April 4, 1932 – September 12, 1992) was an American actor. He is best known for his roles in Psycho and its sequels, where he played Norman Bates, a serial killer who suffered from dissociative identity disorder.

Perkins in 1975
Perkins was born in New York City and was the son of actor Osgood Perkins (1892-1937). He moved to Boston, Massachusetts in 1942.
Personal
He was married to photographer Berry Berenson (1948-2001) from 1973 until his death from AIDS[1] in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California in 1992. The couple had two sons, actor Oz (born 1974) and musician Elvis (born 1976). Berenson was killed in the September 11 terrorist attacks. She was aboard American Airlines Flight 11 when it was hijacked and crashed into the World Trade Center.[2]
