German literature

German literature (German: Deutschsprachige Literatur) is the texts written in the German language. This includes literature written in Germany, Austria, the German parts of Switzerland and Belgium, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, South Tyrol in Italy and also books written by the German diaspora.
