Nusantara TV (abbrievated as NTV) is an Indonesian digital terrestrial television network based in Central Jakarta, owned by NT Corp. NTV was launched on October 15, 2015[1] and granted permanent broadcasting permit (IPP) from the Indonesian government in 2019.

History

NTV is owned by PT Nusantara Media Mandiri, one of business units of NT Corp, that engage in digital television broadcasting media with national coverage and has the status of private broadcasting institution. Nusantara TV and its logo has granted a trademark certificate from Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Republic of Indonesia, based on Act No.20 of 2016, with registration number IDM000806608 regarding trademarks since October 14, 2019.

NTV also received the broadcasting operation license since 2014 then permanent broadcasting operation permit (permanent IPP) in 2016, granted by Ministry of Communication And Information Technology of Republic of Indonesia through the decree No.463/T.02.02/2019 dated October 16, 2016. Nusantara TV began officially broadcast on November 10, 2015 that followed a trial of digital broadcast in 20 cities on June 15, 2016,[2][3] then digital terrestrial broadcast[4] nationwide throughout Indonesia since June 28, 2016.[5]
