Hoseynabad (Persian: حسين اباد, also Romanized as Ḩoseynābād; also known as Husainābād)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Hoseynabad Rural District of Mehrdasht District, Najafabad County, Isfahan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,862 in 720 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,986 people in 852 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,087 people in 931 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
