The 2024 season will be the Washington Commanders' upcoming 93rd season in the National Football League. It will be their second under owner Josh Harris, and the first under general manager Adam Peters and a new head coach. The season began with the firing of head coach Ron Rivera, who was hired in 2020 but had failed to post a winning record with the team. The team also agreed in principal with San Francisco 49ers assistant general manager (GM) Adam Peters to become the team's next GM.[1]
