Etymology
From Proto-Albanian *taišā, continuing Proto-Indo-European *tetḱ-. Related to Lithuanian tiesiù, tiēsti (“to make right, to build”) and perhaps Ancient Greek τέκτων (téktōn, “artisan”).[1]
