Borrowed from Common Slavic, or possibly Old Church Slavonic тръгъ (trŭgŭ), from Proto-Slavic *tъrgъ. Compare Bulgarian търг (tǎrg). Alternatively from a Balkan substrate, cognate to Illyrian *terg (market, marketplace).
