Etymology
From Proto-Albanian *kēsā, from *kēs-(ḱ)eh₂, from Proto-Indo-European *kʷeh₁s- (compare Old Prussian kīsman (“time”), Proto-Slavic *časъ (“time”)). Orel reconstructs Proto-Albanian *kāxā instead.[1]
