Inherited from Ottoman Turkish آدمنه كوره (adamına göre),[1] from آدم (adam) and كوره (göre),[2][3] equivalent to adam (“man; human being, person”) + -ı (possessive suffix) + -(n)a (dative suffix with "n" as buffer consonant) + göre (“depending on”), literally “depending on the person”.
