Usage notes

When the word has two syllables and the suffix is used, haplology happens. The last vowel in the last syllable disappears.
‎*semiŕ (“fat”) + ‎*-i → ‎*semri- (“to fatten”)
Usually metathesis occurs during evolution in daughter languages.
