Etymology
Khitan language proved that it had earlier initial-p sound. Cognate with Khitan 𘮧𘭪 (*p ra, “ten”). Compared to Proto-Tungusic *poba (“ten (a bundle of ten squirrels)”), also Proto-Turkic *ōn according to logic of Turkic initial-∅, Mongolic initial-h, Tungusic initial-p sounds.
