- A brown pill used in traditional Chinese medicine "to tonify the yang of the kidney, and to warm and invigorate the spleen and stomach, in the treatment of consumption of the kidney yang and deficiency cold of the spleen and stomach marked by epigastric and abdominal pain with a cold sensation, vomiting, diarrhea and cold limbs". The binding agent is honey.
