ขยาด

Possibly from corruption of ขลาด (klàat), in the same manner as โขยง (kà-yǒong), a corrupted form of โขลง (klǒong).

1. to fear someone or something, especially because of having once suffered an unfavourable outcome resulted from that one or that thing.
