Etymology
From Proto-Indo-Aryan *ṣwaṭṣHtí, from Proto-Indo-Iranian *šwaćšHtí, from Proto-Indo-European *swéḱsh₁ḱomt (“six-ten”). Cognate with Ancient Greek ἑξήκοντα (hexḗkonta), Latin sexāgintā.
