त्रठ • (traṭh) f (Perso-Arabic ترَٛٹھ, Sharada 𑆠𑇀𑆫𑆜𑇀)

   त्रठ पॆयि च़ॆ कलस पॆठ! ― traṭh peyi tse kalas peṭh! ― May lightning fall upon your head! (A common Kashmiri way of berating)

   स्व छॆ त्रठ हिश। / सु छु त्रठ ह्युव। ― sọ che traṭh hiś. / su chu traṭh hyuv. ― She is like lightning. / He is like lightning. (A way of praising)

   यथ क्याह त्रठ पॆयि? ― yath kyāh traṭh peyi? ― What happened to this? (literally, “What lightning struck this?”)

     च़ालुन छु वुज़ॖमलॖ तॖ त्रटय
     च़ालुन छु मन्दिनॆन गटॖकार।

     ċāluna chu wuzụmalụ tụ traṭay

     Thunder and lightning must be endured. Even utter darkness in the middle of the day must be endured.
