1. to read

   ܐܵܢܵܐ ܠܹܐ ܒܵܥܹܝܢ ܚܲܒ݂ܪ̈ܵܘܵܬܹܐ ܕܠܹܐ ܩܵܪܝܼ ܟܬܵܒ݂ܹ̈ܐ.

   ānā lē bāˁēn ḥaḇrāwātē d-lē qārī ktāḇē.

   I don't want friends who don't read books.
