Literally, "a jackass carrying books". Calqued from Arabic كَمَثَلِ ٱلْحِمَارِ يَحْمِلُ أَسْفَارًا (kamaṯali l-ḥimāri yaḥmilu ʔasfāran) (Qur'an 62:5).
