Etymology
From *yaŋï-dan /*yaŋa-dan (“again, anew”), originally ablative of Proto-Turkic *yaŋï, Proto-Turkic *yaŋa. Cognate with Kazakh жаңадан (jañadan), Kyrgyz жаңыдан (jañıdan), Kumyk янгыдан (yañıdan), Turkish yeniden, Uzbek yangidan, Bashkir яңыдан (yañïdan), etc.
