куҫ
Chuvash
Etymology 1
Ultimately derived from Proto-Turkic *köŕ (“eye”), however the morphology is uncertain, Fedotov proposes both a possible diminutive *köŕč and a third person singular possessive *köŕsi. EDAL's *köŕs is entirely baseless.[1]
Etymology 2
Inherited from Bulgar كوج (köç-), كوالج (köwelç-),[2] itself inherited from Proto-Turkic *köč- (“to migrate”).
