Cognate with Old Uyghur [script needed] (jemiš, fruit);[1] Tatar җимеш (cimeş), Kyrgyz жемиш (jemiş), Kazakh жеміс (jemıs), Khakas ниміс (nimìs), Azerbaijani, Crimean Tatar, Turkish yemiş, Chuvash ҫимӗҫ (śimĕś, fruit).
