Etymology
From вуннӑ (vunnă, “ten”) + -мӗш (-mĕš, “ordinal suffix”), compare Bulgar [script needed] (wânım, “tenth”).[1]
Cognate with Khalaj ônminci, Turkish onuncu, Uzbek oʻninchi, Bashkir унынсы (unınsı) and Yakut онус (onus).
