înviora

Romanian

Etymology

Unknown. Perhaps from a Vulgar Latin root *invīvulāre, ultimately from Latin vīvus, or from a Vulgar Latin *invibrāre, from Latin vibrō, vibrāre. Another theory considers it possibly a derivation of viu (in its now rare nominal sense of "living being, creature"), through an alternative plural *viuri. [1]
