In the frame of the Theory of Informatons the gravitational phenomena are explained and the gravitational laws are deduced by the hypothesis that “information” - more specifically “g-information” - is the substance of the gravitational field, that is the field that mediates in the gravitational interactions. [1]

The theory of informatons develops the idea that any material object manifests itself in space by the continuous emission - at a rate proportional to its rest mass - of informatons: mass and energy less granular entities rushing away with the speed of light and carrying information regarding the position and the velocity of their emitter. This type of information carried by informatons is called “g-information”.

This hypothesis, the “postulate of the emission of informatons”, implies that any material object is at the center of an expanding cloud of carriers of g-information, that can be identified as the gravitational field linked to that object.

From the postulate of the emission of informatons, it can be deduced that the gravitational field is a dual entity always having a field- and an induction-component simultaneously created by their common sources: time-variable masses and mass flows, that the Maxwell-Heaviside equations are the expressions at the macroscopic level of the kinematics of the informatons, that the gravitational interaction is the effect of the fact that an object in a gravitational field tends to become “blind” for that field by accelerating according to a Lorentz-like law, and that an accelerated object is the source of gravitational radiation.

The informatons emitted by an electrically charged object transport, in addition to g-information, “e-information”, this is information regarding the electrical charge of their emitter. e-information is the substance of the electromagnetic field, that is the field that meditates in the electromagnetic interactions.

The postulate of the emission of informatons extended to the case of an electrically charged object implies that such an object is not only at the center of an expanding cloud of g-information (its gravitational field), but also at the center of an expanding cloud of e-information that can be identified as the electromagnetic field linked to that object. [2] The theory of informatons implies that the gravitational field and the electromagnetic field of an object are isomorphic entities.
