The order of prayers on the second day of Sukkot |
סדר תפלת יום ב של סוכות |
662:1On the second day, we bless "...on the taking of the lulav"; the same for the other days. |
סעיף א ביום שני מברך על נטילת לולב וכן בכל שאר ימים: |
662:2Shehecheyanu is not said on the second day over the lulav unless the first day was Shabbat. |
סעיף ב אינו מברך זמן ביום שני על הלולב אלא אם כן חל יום ראשון בשבת: |
662:3We take out two [Torah] scrolls and read the same sections that were read the previous day. The haftarah is from Kings, "They gathered" [Kings I 8:2] until "when I took them out of Egypt" [Kings I 8:21]. |
