Things That Are Forbidden When Preparing a Grill |
דברים האסורים ביום טוב להכנת צלי |

Paragraph 1 - We do not make rocks white-hot in order to grill or bake on them, because they are thus hardened. We do not break pottery or cut paper in order to roast on it. We do not break a reed in order to make it like a skewer to grill on it. |
סעיף א - אין מלבנים את האבנים לצלות או לאפות עליהם, מפני שמחסמן. ואין שוברין את החרס ואין חותכין את הניר לצלות עליהם. ואין פוצעין את הקנה לעשותו כמו שפוד לצלות בו. |

Paragraph 2 - We crack nuts in a rag, and we dot worry that it will rip. |
