PITFIELD. (Lieutenant, 1824.)
Jacob Pitfield obtained his commission 6 Dec. 1824; served in the Coast Blockade as Supernumerary-Lieutenant of the Ramillies 74, Capt. Hugh Pigot, from 22 Dec. 1826 until 1829; and from 15 Dec. 1830 until 1838 held command of a station in the Coast Guard. He has not been since employed.
