Zabaykalsky Krai
Zabaykalsky Krai (Russian: Забайкальский край, romanized: Zabaikal'skii krai) is a federal subject (a krai) of Russia. The administrative center is the city of Chita. In 2010, 1,107,107 people lived there.[1]

The krai was created on 1 March 2008 from the merger of Chita Oblast and Agin-Buryat Autonomous Okrug.
