Windows Server 2022 is the 10th and latest release of Windows Server operating system developed by Microsoft. It was announced at the Microsoft Build 2021 event on January 5, 2021. It was released worldwide on August 18, 2021, and is the successor of Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2019.
