History

The first post office in Utica was created in 1879.[4]

Utica was named by early pioneer C.W. Bell. He was from Utica, New York, so he named it after that city.[5]

Geography

Utica is at 38°38′34″N 100°10′11″W (38.642705, -100.169767).[6] The United States Census Bureau says that the city has a total area of 0.24 square miles (0.62 km2). All of it is land.[2]

The 2020 census says that there were 99 people, 65 households, and 31 families living in Utica. Of the households, 95.4% owned their home and 4.6% rented their home.
