Tsuneko Sasamoto
Tsuneko Sasamoto (笹本 恒子, Sasamoto Tsuneko, 1 September 1914 – 15 August 2022) was a Japanese photojournalist. She was known as the country's first photojournalist.[1] She was born in Tokyo, Japan. She was known for her pictures during the Occupation of Japan and for being active in her 100s.[2]

Sasamoto died on 15 August 2022 in Tokyo at the age of 107.[3]
