Trarza Region
Trarza (Arabic: ولاية الترارزة) is a region in southwest Mauritania. Its capital is Rosso. Mederdra and Boutilimit are other towns there. Trarza has borders near the regions of Inchiri and Adrar to the north and Brakna to the east. It also has borders near the country of Senegal to the south and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The Mauritanian capital Nouakchott only has borders near this region.
