Tim Walz
Timothy James Walz (/ˈwɔːlz/; born April 6, 1964) is an American politician. Waltz is a member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL). He is the 41st Governor of Minnesota.

He was a U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 1st congressional district from 2007 to 2019.[4]
In March 2017, Walz announced that he would not run for reelection to Congress. He ran for Governor of Minnesota and on August 14, 2018, he won the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party nomination. He won the general election in November 2018.
