"The Pass" is a 1990 song by Canadian progressive rock band Rush and was taken from their 13th studio album Presto. It went to number 15 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and the lines allude to Oscar Wilde's play Lady Windermere's Fan.
