"The Ground Beneath Her Feet" is a 2000 song by Irish rock group U2. It was taken from the 2000 movie The Million Dollar Hotel and is the last track from their 10th studio album All That You Can't Leave Behind. It went to number 1 in Iceland, number 22 in Canada and number 20 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart. It is based on the 1999 novel of the same name by Salman Rushdie.
