Tak province

Tak (Thai: ตาก) is one of the northern provinces (changwat) of Thailand. As of 2013, 532,353 people live there,[1] and it has an area of 16,406.6 km². The Governor is Charoenrit Sa-nguansat.[2]

Tak's neighbouring provinces are (clockwise from north) Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet, Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani and Kanchanaburi. The western edge of Tak borders Kayin State of Myanmar.

The highest temperature in Thailand, happened in April 2023: 45.7 degrees Celsius.[3]
