Pico Rivera, California

Pico Rivera is a city in Los Angeles County, California. It is in the southeastern part of the county, near Whittier and Montebello. The city was formed in 1958 when the communities of Pico and Rivera came together. Those places had been farming towns, but became residential after World War II. At one time, there was a large factory that made Ford cars in Pico Rivera. The city has a large Mexican-American population, with Latinos making up 88% of the population.[1]
