The Optare MetroRider is a step-entrance midibus that was built by Optare between 1989 and 2000.

Electric version

An electric version of the MetroRider was produced in 1993.[1]

Natural gas version

A natural gas version was also produced in 1995 and it was powered by a Compressed natural gas engine.
